Our solar louvre system has a 60% increase in solar capture than similar vertical systems. Initially started in South Korea in 2020, SunFleur USA was established in 2022 to enter the North American market.

After careful planning, our US market introduction was in May, 2023 at the Cities Summit of Americas hosted by the Secretary of State, Anthony Blinken.

SunFleur was selected out of hundreds of companies to demonstrate its technology in front of thousands of mayors and dignitaries.

Meet The Team

Jaehyun Kim

Main Dreamer

Graduated from Kyungbook National University with a degree in Bio Fiber. Prior to founding SunFleur, Jaehyun worked as the Chief Manager for Sumitomo Electric Industries in the Korea branch. Outside the office, Jaehyun has now been practicing the art of Kendo for the past 22 years.

Jaeson Kim

Chief Director of Imagination

Graduated from Korea National Open University with a Masters in Business. Before working with SunFleur, Jaeseon worked as the Head of Strategic Planning & Business Development for Rohde-Schwarz and later as the Regional Director of Asia for Rohde-Schwarz International. In his free time, Jaeseon volunteers his time mentoring and doing community outreach.

JinKwan Woo

Robo Engineer

Graduated with a degree in Energy System Engineering from Choongju University. After graduating, JinKwan worked as the Mechanical Designer for Samsung and Hyix. Projects of note include a Semiconductor Heating and Cooling System and an Auto Magnetic Chip Manufacturing System. Being an inventor is both a career and a hobby.

Yoonseok Seo

Potato Inventor

Graduated with a Masters from Hanyang University and a Doctorate from Chnagwon National University. He has served as the Chief of Design House for Texas Instruments. He also specializes in Technical Support for LG and Samsung, as well as, IOT development.

Gary Sumihiro

Sort of "Retired"

Mr. Sumihiro was appointed in June, 2022 by the Secretary of Commerce to the United States Investment Advisory Council. His 30-year career has progressed from attorney, General Counsel, Chief Operating Officer, President, and Member of the Board of Directors of large public and private corporations. Mr. Sumihiro is a graduate with a Bachelors of Science, Juris Doctorate, and Masters in Public Administration.

Betsy Markey

Future POTUS

Betsy Markey has over 30 years of leadership experience in government and private sectors. She has served as a Member of Congress and a Senior Federal Government Executive, and is the co-founder and CFO of a high tech company. She holds a Bachelor degree in Political Science from the University of Florida and a Master of Public Administration from American University. Betsy enjoys tennis, scuba diving, reading, and traveling.
